Ultrasound-Assisted Extraction of Specific Phenolic Compounds from Petroselinum crispum Leaves Using Response Surface Methodology and HPLC-PDA and Q-TOF-MS/MS Identification

Petroselinum crispum is native to the Mediterranean region and has been reported contain several phenolic compounds in addition highest quantity of apigenin among natural raw materials. The aim present study was establish an extraction method for most abundant leaves by using response surface methodology. A Box–Behnken design applied optimize conditions with regards time, temperature, solvent mixture, sample ratio use ultrasound-assisted extraction. An analytical HPLC-PDA methodology developed accurately quantify extracts. Identification (luteolin, caffeic acid, apigenin) also performed UPLC-Q-TOF MS predicted optimal statistical model were identified, values confirmed. Actual 23.92 ± 1.86 100 mL/g, 40% ethanol, 70 °C 40 min, 19.10 0.75 20 0% 25.29 1.82 μg/g dry parsley 25 min luteolin, respectively, estimated. Total content antioxidant activities DPPH, ABTS, FRAP, CUPRAC assays extracts acquired under optimum adequate that could be used production functional foods food enrichment prcedure.
